As a result of increased competition in the Building Control profession, a series of 12 Performance Standards have been developed, together with supporting guidance.
The Building Control Performance Standards Advisory Group continuously monitor the standards and modify them to reflect good standards of professional practice expected from all Building Control bodies (Approved Inspectors and Local Authorities).
